  Diego Guzman is a recent graduate from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. He recently joined the rehabilitation department of Shore Regional Health as a rehab technician in January, 2016. Diego hopes to become a physical therapist one day.

In his free time, Diego teaches salsa dancing and volunteers for local charities, such as Dancing for the Future and Dancing for the Dogs. He is currently a member of semi-professional dance team, Dynamix, 2016 World Amateur Salsa Summit Champions. Diego has been living in Easton, MD since 2004 where he resides with his baby girl Angelica. 

Fit with Aundra, Group Fitness & CPT
An avid fitness enthusiast, Aundra has been leading group fitness classes since 2009.
She has pursued multiple group fitness and yoga certifications. She loves the confidence, community, and empowerment that comes with group fitness. She also works
for Maryland Business Roundtable for Education, where she manages a college and career access grant in Kent County Middle and High Schools, helping students in grades 8-12 learn
about their future opportunities. When not teaching a class, Aundra enjoys hiking national parks with her husband.  

Jacki is a former competitive ballroom dancer who has been instructing since 2012. Seven years ago she started her own dance outreach company called Beyond the Ballroom, which specializes in adaptive dance. She is a certified instructor of wheelchair ballroom dance and dance fitness, pioneered a special abilities category with USA Dance, and coaches an award winning Special Olympics dance team. She’s also experienced in designing dance and fitness programs for seniors, and recently presented at the LifeSpan Elder Care Conference.  

Jennifer Cox has been a dedicated line dance instructor across Maryland and Delaware for the past 25 years. Her love for diverse music and dance rhythms led her to become a certified Zumba instructor in 2009. Her passion for promoting health and fitness inspired her to obtain certification in 2019 to teach "Staying Active and Independent for Life," a senior exercise class she now teaches at the local senior center. In addition to her teaching, Jennifer is the Senior Care Case Manager at Upper Shore Aging, Inc., balancing a full-time job with her evening dance classes. A Kent County native, Jennifer is also a proud mother of two daughters and a grandmother. She is thrilled to be participating in this year's Horizons Dancing With the Stars fundraiser! 

Maria Bagley has been teaching dance for over 40 years.  Her repertoire of dance genres include ballet, tap, jazz, musical theater, ballroom and Zumba! Throughout her dance career, Maria has danced for professional companies, such as Tucson Metropolitan Dance Company and Desert Gems Productions in Tucson, Arizona.  In 1994 she opened her own dance studio in Milford, Delaware, which she operated for 7 years and later sold to longtime friend and esteemed colleague Michele Xiques.  In 1999, she co-founded Diamond Dance Company, under the artistic direction of Tatiana Aikinfieva-Smith.  Maria held many positions with the company over the course of 10 years including President of the Board, Artistic Director and Ballet Mistress, as well as performing with the company. 

Maria started teaching ballroom in the late 1990’s when she started getting requests for couples to prepare for their wedding dance.  Word of mouth and the increased demand for lessons prompted her to add group ballroom classes to her teaching curriculum.  Maria developed a 12 week course to provide basic lessons in Fox Trot, Waltz, Cha-cha, Rhumba, Swing and Tango.  Later, a Level II course was created for students wishing to continue their education after the basic course, followed by a Latin course to focus on Merengue, Rumba, Cha-cha and Salsa.

Among her teaching accomplishments, Maria has been an active participant in the Delaware Dancing with the Stars events, coaching, choreographing and competing for 3 years.  The annual black tie event raises money for the Delaware Boys and Girls Club and Mom’s House.  Over the years, Maria continues to contribute her time and talents to charitable organizations, especially to those involving children and dance.

Maria is also an accomplished actress, performing professionally and non-professionally throughout Delaware and Maryland.  She continues to perform dinner theater with Footlights Productions and lends her choreography to local theater companies in Kent and Sussex Counties. Former President of the Board of Directors of Milford Second Street Players, Maria has performed in and choreographed many productions on the main stage of the Riverfront Theater over the course of 20 years.  Productions include Gypsy, Crimes of the Heart, Witness for the Prosecution, Annie and Wizard of Oz, which she co-directed and choreographed.  She continues to support the Second Street Players whenever possible.

Maria retired from the State of Delaware after 30 years of service, primarily with the Department of Safety and Homeland Security.  She lives with her husband Bruce in Barclay Maryland and together they have a combined family of 6 grown children and 11 beautiful grand-children.  Maria currently teaches Aqua Zumba at the YMCA in Centreville and Zumba Gold classes at the Grasonville and Kent Island Senior Centers. Maria will be teaching Dancing on the Shore’s beginner group lessons in the area as well as in Centreville, MD / Chestertown, MD. 

Tyler Hartman is a local and lives in Chestertown. He made his Dance with the Stars debut two years ago and is returning this year with a vengeance!

Tyler is the Sales Director for Bohemia Manor Winery and a longtime social dancer. He can regularly be found on the dance floor at local bars, clubs, and events. He’s most at home with Latin styles like salsa and bachata, but his dance experience also includes swing, tango, merengue, and line dancing.

Tyler is excited to trade the social dance floor for the stage once more, teach his Star a few moves, and—most importantly—put on a great show for a great cause!
