Dr. Jamie Fleetwood is an educator, holistic health practitioner, coach, pharmacist, and decorated former Division I lacrosse player who has never been particularly interested in staying in one lane. She holds doctorates in both pharmacy and holistic health and is an All-American and Johns Hopkins Athletics Hall of Fame inductee.

Today, Jamie teaches chemistry and coaches girls varsity lacrosse at The Gunston School while exploring human potential through a quantum lens and bringing together the worlds of science, wellness, and consciousness. She loves learning, traveling, being near the water, staying active, and finding a little magic in everyday life.

Dancing, however, is decidedly new territory. Jamie is excited to step outside her comfort zone, support Horizons, and have a lot of fun along the way.

She lives in Chestertown with her children, Clay and Olive.

Jaelon T. Moaney is Deputy Director of the Starr Center for the Study of the American Experience at Washington College—the first college chartered in the sovereign United States. His roots on the Delmarva Peninsula traces back over three centuries, including ancestors who founded the free Black kinship communities of Unionville, Copperville and the Hill in Easton. Appointed in 2023 by Governor Wes Moore as the youngest member of the Maryland Commission on African American History & Culture and unanimously re-elected for a second consecutive term as Vice Chair of the State agency, Moaney has provided thought leadership on cultural stewardship in the U.S. Congress and across the country. His advocacy has contributed to multiple federal designations including the Southern Maryland National Heritage Area, Brown v.  By day, Jen Russum connects teams across the globe to get big, complicated projects done - which may explain why she also managed to get her husband onto a dance floor in front of an audience.

Outside of work, Jen's favorite role is being mom to Abby, 22, and Wyatt, 15. She's passionate about her family, fiercely protective of her kids, and is known to sneak vegetables into their food whenever possible. Her friends know her as a storyteller who loves to make people laugh—and someone whose homemade ranch dressing has developed a following of its own.

Jen is also just a little competitive, so while she and JR publicly maintain that their dancing abilities are a draw, don't expect her to approach this competition casually. After 24 years together, they've established the formula: JR brings the strength, Jen brings the sass —and somehow, it works.

JR Russum has been auctioneering almost since he could talk, but officially made a career of it after college in 1998, when he partnered with his father and began building what is now Russum Auctioneers, specializing in auctions and estate services. You will often find JR helping local organizations with his auctioneer talents and the ability to connect with a crowd! When he isn't calling bids or helping families navigate estates, JR is happiest outdoors hunting and fishing - especially when Abby or Wyatt are along for the adventure.

JR and his wife, Jen, have been married for 24 years, and when asked who is the better dancer, neither is willing to concede. JR plans to bring the strength to their performance and leave the sizzle to Jen. And how exactly did she convince him to compete in Dancing with the Stars? It's for a great cause...and Jen said so.
